CLARK - SECOND GENERATIONTHIS iS AN ACCOUNT OF OUR CLARK FAMILY HISTORY aS KNOWN AT THIS TIME 2. Europe CLARK was
born in Georgia in 1829. He migrated to Union county, Harrison Twp, Arkansas and
was living there as early as 1869. It is believed that he resided in Louisiana
for a time prior to Arkansas. In 1870, Europe (age 41) and wife Charlotte,
a.k.a. 'Lottie' (age 18), had 1 child, William, a.k.a. ‘Willie’ (age 1). By
1880, Europe (age 50) and ‘Lottie’ (age 27) had seven children, all born in
Union cty, Arkansas. In 1880 those children were William (age 11), Lillie (age

However, she was probably not Europe's first wife since he was 41 yrs. old on the 1870 census. Charlotte WALTON was listed as a Housekeeper in 1880. In 1910, at the age of 66, Charlotte (Lottie) Clark was Widowed and residing in the household of her daughter Adlaid Reynolds (Clark) and husband William Reynolds. In 1920 Lottie was living in Dudley Lake Township, Jefferson County, Arkansas with her daughter Sallie and Sallie’s husband John Bradley and their family. Europe CLARK and Charlotte WALTON
