3. Richard STROTHER called ‘Ritchie’, was born in 1857 in Virginia. In was residing in Pope, Perry County, Alabama as early as 1862. In 1880 Richard STROTHER (age approximately 23) and 1st wife Hannah (age 22) were residing in Pope, Perry County, alabama and had no children at that time. By 1910 Richard Strother (age 53) and 2nd wife Sylvia (age 50) had been married 13 years and had no children at that time. His age is listed as 53 years old. His wife Sylvia's age is listed as 50 years old.
Richard STROTHER was married to Hannah (Maiden name unknown) sometime prior to 1880 in Perry, Alabama. Hannah was born in 1858 in Alabama. She was living with her husband Richard STROTHER in 1880 in Pope, Perry County, Alabama. Hannah was 22 years at that time and had no children. NOTE: There are currently no records (oral or written) of any children from this union.
Richard STROTHER was married to Sylvia (Maiden name unknown) in 1897 in Perry County, Alabama. Sylvia was the 2nd wife of Richard STROTHER. This was also Sylvia’s 2nd marriage.Sylvia was born in 1860 in Alabama. In 1910 Sylvia was living with husband Richard STROTHER and she had given birth to 5 children but only 2 were living at that time and there were no children residing in their household. Thus, these children were most likely a product of Sylvia’s 1st marriage and not from her marriage with Richard STROTHER. NOTE: There are currently no records (oral or written) of any children having been born from this union.
